Two-line lubrication system operates with two main supply lines (Line A and Line B) and a set of dual-line metering valves installed at each lubrication point. It functions in alternating pressure cycles.
This alternating pressure mechanism ensures that every lubrication point receives a consistent, metered amount of lubricant (grease or oil) in each cycle, regardless of the number of points or the length of the supply lines.
Core Components & Specifications
Dual-Line Metering device: Core components mounted at each lubrication point; store and dispense a fixed volume of lubricant when pressure switches between the two lines.
Pump: Generates alternating pressure for Line A and Line B; can be electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic-powered.
Changeover Valve: used to alternately pressurize one main line while venting the other, enabling sequential lubrication of all points.
Pressure Switch/Controller: Monitors line pressure, triggers the pump to switch between Line A and Line B, and alerts for faults.
This system is preferred for large-scale equipment and facilities with widely dispersed lubrication points:
Mining industry: Conveyor belts, Crushers, Shovels and ore processing machinery, .
Heavy Construction: Large cranes, tunnel boring machines (TBMs), and concrete mixing plants.
Steel & Metallurgy: Rolling mills, blast furnaces, and material handling systems.
Port & Logistics: Container cranes, stackers, and long-distance conveyor systems.
Power Generation: Coal-fired power plant conveyors, biomass processing equipment.
